Hey folks,
I've set up a 'Connaught home brewers' Facebook group to see if I can stir up some activity in the region. It started as a Mayo page, but due to wider interest I changed it to all of Connaught. We already have people signed up from Galway, Mayo and Sligo. The aim is to try to overcome the challenges posed by being in a rural setting and to create a community where people can find support and motivation to brew. Due to covid and the restrictions, there won't be too much happening straight away, but we will look to run some bottle swops and other events and start building connections virtually that will hopefully grow into something more. If you are a brewer in Connaught and are on Facebook, come check us out.
I will post this and any news about upcoming events on the community sub boards here too so that people who are members here but who aren't on Facebook can still choose to participate.
