Looks great

Is that a cask breather?

Yes a breather so I can keep a blanket of co2 on top thus extending the shelf life of the beer.

I'm staggered by how much the cask breathers cost. Tell me if it's worth it in three weeks time, plz. Still on the fence.

A wee through-top hand-pull would be cracking for your cask station, but harder to come by.

I've just ordered a couple of cask gadgets from a trade shop in Wrexham (RLBS). Got a southern spout for my angram for £9, in case you fancied a change. They have all sorts of spares, well priced (except the cask breathers). Delivery was steep to Ireland, mind.

I fancy a different handle than the black one I currently have. Must see what's available. I bought the cask breather from RLBS and it was dear enough.

A nice Bass one off eBay?

Nice green one on there now, and a cute willow pattern one too.

Where did ye get the flexible red tubing from?

That's not that flexible. It's standard 3/8th beer line. I think I got it in thehomebrewcompany

Sorry my bad, the red line came from CHINA with the regulator for the sodastream bottle. I do have red beer line as well as white and that came from THBC

An alternative is the adjustable propane regulator:
https://www.gasproducts.co.uk/regulators/propane-gas-regulators-low-pressure/50-150-mbar-clesse-propane-gas-regulator-brooder.html

Make sure that you pick up the right JG fittings for it (1/4" male -> 3/8 P/F) and (3/8" male -> 3/8 P/F). A little bit of positive pressure and it will keep condition in the beer.

Excellent, thank you. I think I've the fittings, just need the reg. Going to need one extra gubbins to get the gas into the cask, tho. Do you use it with a corny?
