+1, only compensation is ready availability of Ayingerz brews. Had a Urweiss and a Jahrhundret earlier. Very good. Here Celebrator might be available soon...

I would be drinking Gösser ( Nice Maarzen from Austria  )
I bought a 4 l keg there at the weekend and put it in the case ( it's a plastic Keggie )

Only problem is it's a beertender compatible thing ..


Anyone have a lend of a Beertender near Cork ?

It's a grand ipa imo . Have had a lot worse,  but also....  (don't particularly like the overly bitter Ida's personality) On special in dunnnes.

Have to agree with Slev, I really like this IPA

Put a passion fruit DIPA on the other night and pouting the first of it now.
A dirty big 10.8% hipster hop monster.

Blacks of Kinsale 'Irish Giant' barleywine 11%.

Not much detail on what type of barleywine they were going for.

For a barleywine I found it quite thin in body, more like that of a quad but without the yeast characteristics or other flavours. 

Have to say not impressed, didn't finish it and remainder has gone into my slops jar for baking.

Porter? I've a clone of it on too but there was chocolate malt in it. Recipe from Modern Homebrew Recipes. Wouldn't make it again though.
