Would love to head along to this if it's ok. Only about 10 all grain brews under my belt so lots to learn. I have a Hefeweizen which I'm not happy with and if I can get my Co2 tank filled I'll bring my NEIPA.

A friend of mine is also interested in going. He hasn't started yet but has helped me. Would it be ok if he came too or do you have to be activity brewing?

Usually it's active brewers only, but as the meets take place in a public bar nobody in the group would ask the management to tell your mate to leave, and they likely wouldn't turn away a customer anyway.

As a once off I'd say it's fine for him to come along, however the spirit of the meets is that you bring along a beer and share it, in return for everyone else sharing theirs.

Some months a regular member may end up "mooching" and that's fine, they are well known and have brought beers before, but I think it may make people uncomfortable if someone was coming along regularly and not bringing anything to the table.

That said, co-brewing is definitely a thing, so yeah, welcome along, and seeing as there are 2 beers on your list we can say one is yours and the other is your mates.

Will be a small enough area we'd get in here - trying out a new venue so might be tight.

New brewers are always welcome in the North County. With or without beers.  :D

Thanks for that. Unless he activity gets going on this I'll leave him out in future. He can have the Hefe as something is not right with that. See you all Wednesday, really looking forward to it.
