Hey all,

I'm organising a trip to the mainland, looking at a city with decent craft and/or cask, and a date a good bit into the future to give people time to plan

On Friday evening (24th Jan) I'll give the flights and destination so people can book if they wish to come along.

It looks like we can either have a reasonable departure time, but have to rush to get back to the return flight - or go out early but have a comfortable time not having to run back for the return flight.

I'm leaning to the second of those options, we can find a spoons for breakfast if it comes to it.

I'm not looking for suggestions or anything, I have a place and flights in mind, I'm just checking a few details.

This is just for information purposes so people can check back on Friday and decide.

Last time we went there were 4 of us in Nottingham and it was good, we made it to 7 or 8 bars and it wasn't too rushed or messy.

DEMPSEY

Is it to the Mainland or to the other big island between us and the Mainland :D

Is the mainland France, Germany, UKraine?

Good stuff Des, I'll be up for it if it doesn't clash with anything. Many good Nottingham memories.

BTW you may wish to remove your signature about the capital met up in March!

Do you want to reach out to the rebel brewers, as they have a direct flight to Bristol too?

Dr Brown Ale

A brewer from that area of the country has already posted in this thread.

Would be great to have as many people travelling as possible though yeah, I'm kind of stumped why you yourself didn't reach out though, as well as posting here?

Because you are the trip organiser? I would never presume to add people to someone else trip without asking the organiser first.

Dr Brown Ale

Well, everyone and anyone is welcome, rebel brewers, south county even garden county

book the flight and come to bristol with us

this is a public forum and anyone can read and comment, I'm not the "organiser" I just suggested the dates and times, after that it's every brewer for themselves
