removing corny trim?

Can you remove the top plastic trim from a corny?

They're not made by Cornelius, it's another brand, Chinese I think.

It will come off alright but you won't have any handles. Alealex posted this a while back.

They are a rubber/plastic sort of material and when the 336 landed at my door we found some of them had the this stuff half on. Why do you want to remove them.

It just looked cool with the metal handles and shiny, but they dont have handles under the trim so i'll forget about it
