"Something for the Lady Sir"

A long long time ago in the UK (not Ireland) on Friday or Saturday morning when you went to the barbers for a quick spruce up for the Sat night dance a good barber would always remind you "Something for the weekend Sir?"

In those days barber shops used to be about the only place to discreetly buy condoms. Hence his gentle reminder. It also meant that the more hopefull "lads" had their hair cut far too often!

You could buy them in the chemists but the chance of your mothers friend who worked there screaming to the pharmacist things like " Is little Willy old enough to buy a johny for his little Willie" was enough to go pay for ANOTHER haircut ::)

Any way back to the 21 st century!

We are fast approaching St Valentine's day so what better present for the lady in your life than one of these:

Does anyone remember, back in the 80s, Fred Brewster and his 'Geronimo'? That did him the weekend and the 5 days after. Just look him up on Youtube (pardon the unfortunate pun).
