I have a demi of sour sitting just under a year now. Actually forgot about it. Had a sample and its quite nice. Not that tart yet. Anywho, I'm going to add some raspberry to send it the framboise way. I have some in the freeze but looking for some advice on quantities to use in a 4.5L batch. Oh and oak chips, yay or nay?

Cheers.

The base beer was an Alt. Mid 30 EBC.  I then pitched a sour mix. 655 if I remember correctly.

Take it easy on the oak for such a small batch. Light toast might be less intrusive.

Definitely. Would be only talking about 2 or 3 grams. Can always add more. Kind of hard to take it out.

2 weeks on the fruit and just had a sample. Delicious. Didnt oak it. 4.5L is just not enough though  :( :(
