Herms Using 1.7L Argos Kettle?

Hi All, I have a question for you.

I am considering going the HERMS route but instead of putting the coil in the HLT just placing a small tight coil in a standard 1.7L Argos Kettle.

The kettle would be connected to the PID controlling the temperature of the water. I would think that you could coil 10mm copper piping to a diameter of 10cm with between 5-10 coils inside the kettle.

I would be doing 25-40 L batches with max 10kg of grain and 30 L of water in the mash tun.

By my rough calculations assuming no significant losses you could increase the whole mash 10 degrees C in about 15 min.

Has anyone got a setup like this? If not can anyone see any potential problems that I might have missed?

I have one  , cant fault it , I am no thermo dynamics doctorate holder so cant say whether its efficient but it does the job , me and Dempsey ran a test last year re the appropriate size of herms pot cant remember the link , my model is by no means asthetically pleasing on the eye ie covered in masking and red tape,  but it works  . The coil is double wrapped around itself inside to fit in in and get more coverage of wort flowing throw in a small space
