I think it might be a good idea to have a pint and discuss our options on venue etc. and just to meet each other in the flesh. I'm thinking very informal as I said a few pints!

I'm guessing this weekend is too soon and as well as that a lot of people are out of town on bank holiday weekends.

So I'm thinking Thursday 8th of November in one of the city centre craft beer bars. (But we may well end up with a venue before then! So ideally it'll be a few craft beers!)

Hopefully that leaves us enough time for someone to come up with a venue. And get other things organised!

Bull and Castle sounds good, stick that up in the calendar! I'll book a table when we have a better idea of numbers! And people who have brewing buddies who aren't on here, please feel free to invite them and stick them down on the list:

I should be able call along to this, but I'm not sure if the Bull and Castle is the best venue on that night. Pubstandards, the monthly meeting of IT Developers meet there the second thursday of every month, so it should be on, on the 8th. I was in there for a pint last month when it was on and the place was jammers. Not sure if you'll be able book a table, they had about 3/4 of the beer hall reserved.

Will - Can you bring your camera along to this on Thursday?

And can anyone who is attending, wear their National Homebrew Club T-shirts - if you posess them. and have a bit of a general scrub up :P

Im in touch with a few papers about the competition and it will be handy to provide them with a few decent pictures - free content.

Padraic - Have a shave! And dont stick out your belly or stand like a tea pot!

Not happening Jimmy, no one will believe I'm a brewer if I shave!
