The Wee County Brewers are back and are in preparation of hosting a competition.
When: Saturday 2nd November
Where: Pearse Lyons Brewery, Dundalk
What: Belgians, Belgians and More Belgians
We will be accepting ALL Belgian beer styles.
The following beer style entries will be accepted:
21b Speciality IPA: Belgian IPA
23b Flanders Red Ale
23c Oud Bruin
23d Lambic
23E Geuze
23F Fruit Lambic
24a Witbier
24b Belgian Pale Ale
24c Bière de Garde
25a Belgian Blond Ale
25b Saison
25c Belgian Golden Strong Ale
26a Trappist Single
26b Belgian Dubbel
26c Belgian Tripel
26d Belgian Dark Strong
29a Fruit Beer (Must have Belgian characteristics)
30a Spice Beer (Must have Belgian characteristics)

Each entry will cost €5 with a limit to 3 entries per person.
The prizes are as follows:
1st - Pair of Vantastival Sunday Camping Tickets, Wicklow Hops Company hamper, €50 Urban Brewing Voucher
2nd - 25kg bag of Loughran's malt, €50 Homebrew Company voucher, crate of Boyne Brewhouse's Belgian Dubbel
3rd - 25kg bag of Loughran's malt, €50 Homebrew Company voucher
Plus possibly more prizes to be announced.
The competition will be BJCP.

Can't see any problem as long as there's 2 bottles.
Would you allow Brett Saisons which are normally under 28A?

If submitting 33cl bottles we'll need you to send 3 bottles. 1 bottle for initial judging, 1 for potential mini-BOS and the 3rd for Best of Show, should your beer make it that far. Registration page has been updated.
