Title: Newbie
Post by: Pure_Chancer on April 21, 2023, 12:04:12 PM
Hi,

New to homebrewing (only on my second brew) and I must say I am enjoying it! Joined to see if I can find ideas on how to make better beer as time goes on and hopefully avoid mistakes that'd have to learn the hard way.

Based in Cork so if anyone wants to reach out do so.

Cheers

There's a couple of clubs in Cork and they are both active.

Lee Valley brewers are more city based and socially active. Rebel brewers have a bigger county wide footprint and are more focused on brewing. Worth meeting up with both groups, and a few of us are a member of both.

Make an announcement on the relevant brewing community forums and one of the mods can induct you into the whatsapp groups where all the activity is.

What part of Cork ? (I am little island based)

Sounds good. I'll put myself out there in the two groups and go from there. I'm based in Mid Cork not too far from the city so it makes sense to contact both as the meets seem to be in Cork anyway.

Thanks for the advice!
