I'm also looking for a large pot that can be used on a gas burner.

Did you find a 70L pot in the end? I have one myself I don't have space for it and would rather see someone get use out of it.

Cruiscinlan do you still have this?

Bought one of these recently.  Was going to set it up as electric but since I've a gas burner I was thinking of using it for BIAB until I have everything in place for elements.  I've asked Shane if it's suitable for gas and while I wait on a reply does anyone have an opinion here?  Bottom of the kettle isn't very much thicker than the sides.

I know Reuben (taleofale) has them, I've seen them on his Twitter, it might be worthwhile asking him, he uses them with elements.

He's Saruman on here

I've got 100 litre versions of the same pots and use high btu burners and have had no issues over the last year.

Agree with DarraghKS. I've the same 70l pots on 7.5kw burners. 3 years old and going great. Welcome to call in and see Ciaran.
