Big day in Kildare 17th may ( cask ale launch evening) and beetroot lager brew

Meet the Dublin craft beer ladies, who are coming down, they will tell u a thing or two about how to drink

Ok we are launching our first cask ale after the success of the first ladies brew what Better brew to put in and tap from a cask only a fantastic Gold medal Scottish Shilling. Malty, toasty, smokey...itll be a gem.

Brewin a batch of Beetroot lager as an experiment following last years success with our nitro beetroot ale, a rare beer with a crimson body and shocking pink creamy head...we are doing it all again this time a PINK Lager

As usual great food, great company and the best club base in the country with camping, caravanning barbcue and all night campfire.  Followed by our famous breakfast either before u get to bed or not!

You have been warned the brew weekend to beat all brew weekends coming up  10am 17th may till u go home, whenever that is

Woohoo! Work rota is perfect for this - off on Saturday. AND off on the 17th May - what's that about?

This one is our biggest yet , encourage everyone to bring yor tents, kids, other halves and dont worry about beds, we have any amount for those dont like camping, but keep in mind our camping is more like glamping.
I dont think I announced we have invested in a fantastic luxury caravan 5 berth which can be used at our weekends for anyone wants to bring along the family. Caravan is situated in the garden beside the indoor camping grounds and beside all the amenities. there is also plenty of sofas, beds and floor space, someone may even be lucky enough to sleep in the brewery beside the beer fridge We also have the trailer tent (glamping again) sleeps 5 or 7 if kids are small.

@ Dunkel ....   a few words of inspiration for those who may be procrastinating about coming down to one of our weekends?

Right.... busy day  brewin, bottling, transferring, modifying kegerator, setup summer taps straight from kegerator, brewed the second half of the 9 gallon ale going to cask for 17th may

Just had a taste of last weeks half cask-brew, its well on its way to being a fabulous cask ale and the head retention and clarity is bang on. Earthy aroma from the ekg and willamette, malty as a shilling should be

So just bumping our 17th may cask launch, beetroot lager brew and all evening drinking session hopefully by the campfire / bbq with overnight camping, glamping, sofa hugging or floor warming just bring ur sleeping bags...everything else is here

We have a few guaranteed overnight guests and I'm confident those 3 r 4 people will demolish half the cask without too much trouble .
The other half and our other three session beers will be to hand as well as our numerous other offerings.

Never done cask before so will have to start reading on how to fill., condition, tap, rest and pour   any quick tips pass them on

Well dodge it depends on your 'appearance fee', if we can afford you   ask your agent to contact Kellie , funds are low now that we have contracted Imelda May supporting arcade fire and the stripes....but anythings possible...havnt hired a chef yet...kellies on a weekend off....any suggestions?

After our "quick" ( 2 hours  ) drop off of CARA's 750ml bottles yesterday, and the tour, and a fabulous tasting of many award winning beers, I have to say that you are a credit to the NHC, you have a super set up and very relaxed and generous approach to all things brewing. 

We will keep the 17th in mind and try make it for some of the day!
