Last call, Kildare's National homebrew-day effort as per NHC Homepage. As most of ye know we at south kildare brewers are well reknowned for the quality of our brewups, our hospitality, our brew knowledge and our multiple medal winning (National and now International) beers. Just 45 mins from city centre to our base via the green bus westmorland street at 5 euros or 25 mins from red cow ( same bus)

Kicking off as usual at 11am till late.

Great weather forecast for our hop picking, couldnt be better!

lager brew going in the pot with fresh hops...yes wet, fresh hops straight from the plant. this is our first lager following the summer.

As well as hops brewing and beer tasting we have fresh seasonal veg on the menu and as much or as little homebrew talk and demos as ye want.

Some features of our South Kildare brewers are

Home made walk in chiller room
multiple fridge and cold conditioning setups
3 different brewing setups
Fresh hops being harvested
about 20 beers on taster today including 2 x UK Gold medal brews
Demos of every aspect of brewing from selecting grain and recipes to tasting the finished product

There is already a good group of people on the way, please let us know if you are dropping in to say hello

What a lovely day weather wise we had yesterday for the hop picking!  We had a great turn out from family, friends, neighbours, fellow brewers and the Dublin Ladies :) What a crop we got and there is still more to pick which where not ready yet!
