I was wondering if anyone had a soda stream - CO2 regulator adapter that they wanted to sell?

Something like this one here which is circled in red below:

Nope but i do use sodastream bottles in my setup. I use a regulator that i got from candirect that fits them.

I had considered getting a dedicated regulator but felt it would allow greater flexibility in future if I got a normal regulator in case I decide to get a larger gas bottle.

Out of interest what sort of life to you get out of a bottle in terms of how many kegs it would carbonate/dispense?

Would a soda stream bottle be able to withstand the same pressure levels as the 8kg tank?

CO2 is stored as a liquid. This means that the pressure will be the same no matter what amount of CO2 is being stored.

Where'd you get the adapter shiny?

Tube, I'd be interested in hearing if you manage to fill the sodastream bottles. What other adapters do you need and where would you get them?

As long as i dont have any leaks i tend to get a couple of kegs out of them but i havent really been counting to be honest.

Is the purpose of this...
...to make your keg system more portable for parties etc.?
...to refill for Soda Stream use?
...to have a reserve for when your main cylinder runs out?

I live in a tiny apartment and with current accommodation shortages in Dublin, if I am forced to move it is likely to be even smaller the next time. I'm being forced to pay twice the price, for something that is half the size, to save space unfortunately. Given our previous conversations on cooling, a second use for that electric cooler box has crossed my mind for these kegs.  ;)

I hear ya. Great idea though, refilling SS cylinders.

They've got this amazing new thing now they call public transport! Basically means you can live in a bigger house further away instead of a box in the city.  :P.   From someone who lives north of Newry and works in Donnybrook!
In primary:
In secondary: Wine, Melomel
In keg: Teddy Hopper, Coconut stout, 4 Cs, Buzz bomb, Never Sierra, Bock, OD
In the fridge: Helles Lager, Hob Gob

Then I moved and saved EUR200 a month.

EDIT:Clarification
Commuted 150km round trip for 18 months. 2 hrs driving.
Moved, Diesel bill was EUR300/month
Moved again, Diesel Bill is currently EUR100/month

I like being able to walk home and not pay €25 for a taxi 3 or 4 times a month. I would love a shed though.  :(
