How many fridges have had the cooling lines hit when drilling for a kegerator? I can only imagine what would happen if you give a load of home brewers diggers and send them off do dig a massive hole in their back garden.
I'd watch it in YouTube though.

Great idea, what about drilling through solid rock though? I wonder if you could buy a cheap second hand mini digger for a couple of grand that could do the job, or am I away with the fairies?
