I decided to use my flickr account as it allows me to upload hi-res photos. It is not an MRFC site!!

Anyways did you see the pix?

Also talking with Cris he would be free after about 4:30  on Sunday. I will check with James - Chris would like to have a look at James' system

Lads, my "system" (bucket with a kettle element) is down in waterford.

I handed it over to the father in law. I am in the middle of building a new "system". I have an element and am ordering the bucket from hbw.

I think chris has just never seen biab before. There's loads of it on youtube. It is very very simple!
Fill bucket up to 25l.
Heat up to strike temp.
Add bag full of grain.
Assuming mashing temp, wrap in jackets and leave for an hour.
Remove bag, with optional squeeze - dont forget your marigolds for the squeeze.
Switch element back on and boil as per usual...

No pumping or recirculating any of that nonsense.
And dont ask me about numbers/efficiencies - i think i checked the first couple of times and everything was ok, but i dont bother anymore - ive done about 10-12 brews.

I just know i get lovely beer out the end far superior to kits!
I am obviously in the market to better my system, but time and space is at a premium for me atm.
