Looking for 6+ stackable beer crates to store 500ml bottles.
Could be tempted by more bottles as well, if someone upgrading to kegs and looking to offload both.....

I'd look for them in eastern european shops near by. I manage to get 2 crates for 4 EUR from POLONEZ. Tricky can be size if you are using flip-top bottles. For flip-top I found Gambrinus Green crates fit well and no issue when stacking. Cheers

Check out some of the off licence in your area that sell alot of European 500ml beers. Might have a few crates
Craft beer bars (when they open) are another great source of these, especially if they are doing a decent trade in german / belgian beers. Those crates are meant to make a return journey to the brewery in their country of origin, but thats probably not happening in these cases.
Watch out if you are using fliptops, as others have mentioned, as the crate height is usually not high enough to clear the tops of those (and stacking them will transfer load to the bottle and not the crate).
