Title: NHC Code of Conduct
Post by: SlugTrap on March 17, 2023, 04:52:57 PM
The National Homebrew Club is for everyone who brews.

We're proud to welcome anyone who wants to join. Every member should help create a safe, enjoyable environment, both in person and online.

We also know that all of our social events serve alcohol. That can impair judgment and loosen inhibitions, but people still need to be responsible for themselves. The NHC has a no-tolerance policy for harassment.

Harassment may consist of verbal, visual or physical conduct that is unwelcome, offensive, and/or makes someone feel uncomfortable.

It can take many forms, such as:

Anyone experiencing or observing harassment may report it to Thandi Guilherme (https://www.nationalhomebrewclub.ie/forum/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=2797) or use this anonymous form (https://forms.gle/FvXvmko5pMnXFEHt8).
First incidents automatically trigger a verbal warning. Incidents of violence or repeated violations can lead to suspension or expulsion from the club. Filing a false complaint will be disciplined, too!

We're all here for the beer, so let's remember to treat each other with respect.
