So, I've found the tool for this in Beersmith; no issues there. However, what I'm trying to confirm is the start date. I have hope from the 2011 and 2012 harvest that I bought from HBW about 9 months ago. They have a best before that runs out between now and Jan 2015.
In BeerSmith, to calculate the alpha acid decay, what date do I use? The harvest/ the purchase date or possible the best before?
