As a lot of newcommers are registering and posting here first I thought it would be useful to steer you towards our equipment wiki. Here is a basic run through of equipment and where to get it:

Also remember that if you enter the NHC competition you WILL receive a professional assessment of your beers. This service is offered for the amazing cost of €5 for the first beer aand €1 for subsequent beers. So for a tenner you could get 10 beers assessed for only a tenner!

So when Will and I went to school the teacher had a sally rod (a stick Will) and she would be teaching arithmetick,she would give us a puzzle,
"If the first boy went into the shop and paid £5 for the bag of sweets and 9 other boy's went into the other shop and each paid £1 for their sweets,how much money did they pay in total". Me things Will got the stick alot.
