Greetings all, can anyone recommend a decent mild ale recipe? All grain.
Thanks.

This was a recipe I brewed previously. It scored 34 in the nationals, judges commented that it was nice but quite one dimensional. More chocolate malt was suggested as a possible way to improve it. I think it would have been nicer with the original planned Whitbread yeast as well, rather than the nottingham yeast I had to throw in.

3.6% ABV
16 IBU
12 SRM

Malt:
3KG Maris Otter Pale Ale Malt
0.34KG Light Crystal
60g Chocolate Malt
Hops:
40g Savinski Goldings 2.5% @ 90mins
Yeast:
Wyeast 1098 (Whitbread) yeast

Fermenting at 18c for 7 days, then bottled and drank young.
