Following is the agenda more-or-less for the day as emailed to Judges...

9.00 - Doors open
9.30 - Stewards Briefing
10.00 - Check in: Judging will commence shortly after. One judge per team (of two) will be asked to take the lead within their team and may be asked to judge the mini-BOS depending on the size of the flight (a group of entries to be judged in one sitting). Most flights are 10-12 beers, any judges who finish all their flight may be asked, or may volunteer to join other flights containing other styles to make up teams of three.
13.00 - Lunch will be provided.
14:00 - mini-BOS to decide 1-2-3 in each category (BOS- Best of Show or medal deciding rounds).
14:30 - The Barrel Competition
15:00 - BOS to decide overall winning beer.
16:30-17:00 Awards

Doors open to the Public at 3pm

Any Questions please post here.

Thanks,
John

What time is well open to public?
Can I see beer being judged?
Any thoughts on how long BOS will take?
:)

Garry

What time do stewards need to be there?

It's open to public at 3 sorry not beforehand for anyone else apart from Stewards and Judges

We are trying to have some judging done downstairs but this may not be possible.

BOS will take time as there is a lot of them!!

Announcements of all winners targeted to be done at 5 plus of minus 30 minutes depending on how morning judging goes.

This is rough, these times may slip!

Komodo021

I'll be opening up before 9 so things should run smoothly in that regard :)

John, to date ( 22:00) no email recieved.

I see the schedule - no problems there but what cats am I judging?

Need to sort the auld bed time books!

"Noddy does Toyland" has to be left till next week!!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

Dunkel

Unfortunately I won't be able to come down to Cork today for the judging. I had an incident with the motorbike on Thursday night; I thought the bike was more damaged than me. However, for the past few hours my back has swollen, and it's really killing me (A&E later if there's no improvement). I really don't feel I'm up to the job, let alone the journey down.  :(

So sorry about this guys, and I hope you have a great day.

Chris

Ha! I'm taking the kids to ballet then to hockey then back to ballet then on to a birthday party in the swimming pool with 20 eight year olds. I feel sorry for you guys who have to drink beer all day.......
Primary: Back to Black Again (Michael Jackson stout)
Secondary:
Conditioning:  Breac Donn Imperial Amber Ale
Drinking: Cascade Reaction Amber Ale, Fear Gorm Irish stout, lonesome pilgrim pale ale
Planned: imperial stout, finlandia kit hack

Tom

Jeez Dunkel, hope you feel better soon. Bloody mopeds!

Good luck today everyone. I spent the money I was going to bribe you with on a curry last night, so I guess I'll have to rely on my skill as a brewer. Shit.

Bubbles

Have fun today everyone! Looks like things are well under way. Wish I could have been there, but I have domestic matters to attend to, similar to Chris..   :-\

I'll console myself later with a cheeky bottle of something.  >:D

Enjoy!!

Chris

36 for my red my best score. Woohoo I'm over the moon
