Hey guys. I've been brewing for years, but usually don't it wrong. From crazy estery extract beers made in the hot press while in college to experimental meads that would make your mouth pucker like your grannies' rectum, I've screwed it up in every possible way.

After a three year hiatus, I got asked to do a 5 minute piece on medieval mead making for the "Holding out for a Hero" TV show last month...and it energised me again. In the last four weeks I've started a brew club in work to get people into it, put on a strawberry melomel, a myrtle mead (1650s style) an English Pale Ale Braggot, a Belgian blond and a lager. (The last three from mashkits, as I'm still nervous about all grain stuff). I also built an stc1000 based conditioner, which hasn't set fire to the house yet.

Next plan is a Howth heather & yarrow ale (who needs hops?) a cider and..a stout of some kind. I'm interested in building an electric brewery too, and would love to visit someone who has set one up!

Oh, and I think I need bigger boilers....
