I started this kit on 10/5/15.

Everything went well setting up (sterilising, pitching temperature etc..) and I left it out in my back shed thinking that it would be warm enough for fermentation. I noticed no bubbles over the week and took a temperature reading yesterday; it was 14' so I moved it too my greenhouse. I also took a gravity reading and it was 1.024; so still plenty of fermentation to be done. It was bubbling away today so the temperature increase has the fermentation going.

The greenhouse was 37' today so hopefully the beer won't taste like vinegar. I'll add the hop pellets Wednesday and bottle on Saturday or Sunday.

@wexican, the Shed would be a better bet if you can run a heat source such as a brew belt.
A week later and 37C sounds nasty, let us know the result.

I only moved the fermenter to the greenhouse on 18/5/15.

I measured the temperature of the beer today and it was 23 degrees (with the greenhouse being 37 degrees).

Would this be ok?

Thanks for your help.

23 is probably to warm, but much better than 37!
Assuming it's an ale, this would be happiest at 18-20

This brew turned out fine.

It's a tasty beer with a good head, it's a strong beer and you wouldn't have too many!

I'm saving a few for Christmas.
