This years hop harvest was decent even with the crappity smacking bad weather.

sparged with 11l @80c. Collected 26l.Rest for starters.

Gypsum added to boiler:      4      grams      Gypsum (Calcium Sulfate Dihydrate) (Ca SO4 2H2O)
Table Salt added to boiler:      1      grams      Table Salt (Na Cl)
Epsom Salts added to boiler:      4      grams      Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate) (Mg SO4 7H2O)

All hops put in either bags or tea strainer. No pump used. 21l gathered in fv. Pitched at 18c.

Like the pictures  - not sure about those troublesome dogs !

The weather is rubbish
- but at least the water is well cold for chilling the wort after the boil

It is great to have cold water again...too mild all year! Pesky dogs are gone back to the DSPCA for re-homing. I have managed to name 3 or 4 beers after our foster dog adventures...including the Twisted pepper winner I think.
