Recommendations to emulate Metalman?

Very new to brewing, currently have my first Coopers IPA fermenting at the moment.  Looking to order more ingredients so I can get another batch in the fermenter once I bottle the first.

I'm interested in trying some steep hopping as outlined in the kit hacking guide, and was wondering does anyone know what hops/yeast/kit would give me something similar to Metalman?  I'm basically a fan of the American style pale ales so if I could get something in that realm would be fantastic.

Coopers APA is a good base.

Use American hops obviously! Try the 3 c's: Cascade, Centennial and Columbus.

I'm getting a taste for citra too, but it might be a bit cat-pissy for some.

I'd suggest steeping 50 to 75g of hops and dry hopping with 50 to 75g too.

Use Safale US-05 yeast.

I think Summit and Cascade are the late hops in Metalman if that's any help
Give a man a beer, waste an hour. Teach a man to brew, and waste a lifetime!

Correct,no dry hopping either but you might need to to get the same results. They use notty yeast as well.

Thanks for the info guys, sounds great :)  Seems most of the hop packs on homebrewwest are 100g - do I basically use the steeping method with say half of them(50-60g), and dry hop the rest?
