Bulldog V1 to V2 upgrade parts
We do have the Bulldog V2 malt pipe and sparge plate already in stock, and we have been replacing the V1 pumps with V2 ones for free. I'll try to get them all on the web site tonight at cost.

Not sure about the controller as these would require electrical modifications and there may be insurance issues. But I prefer the V1 controller anyway . . . it doesn't have steps, but it is easier to use.

Seasonal Opening Times, Last Online Orders
We can still ship online orders for Christmas delivery if we get them before 12.00 noon on Thursday 21st December, but that really is leaving it to the last minute! The shop is open in Galway until 5 PM on Saturday 23rd December. Then everything shuts down until Wednesday 3rd January. Any online orders received when we are closed will only get processed when we get back on the 3rd. We may be around for a couple of days between Christmas and the new year so please call us on 085 8895488 if you really need help, or want to come to the shop to collect an order.

Here's why I love brewing. You get to learn new phrases every now and again. One of our Speidel brewery guys tells me he "gyles his wort". Most of them do, I just never knew there was a term for it!

We have one on the way (early next week) for evaluation and will do a brew day with it here in Galway (please send a PM with a day that suits if you are interested). UK RRP is £650, or Euro 745 approx, but we will try to do a bit better. As the January sale is still running, you can pre-book one for end of February delivery for Euro 649.95 . . . send a PM if you are interested and we'll put some in stock.

This is an amazing piece of kit at a great price with lots of unique features like anti-scorch re-circulation. Since its insulated, it uses a lot less power than similar systems so even less scorching / darkening of the wort. It also has a proper magnetic pump (supposed to be better than competing systems, which is a major improvement for sure!).
