Title: Spring Water

Are Camden tabs enough to treat spring water (I have a nice spring near by) or would you have to boil it too?

There shouldn't be any chlorine in spring water so no real need for campden. The mash and the boil will be hot enough to kill off any nasties in the water as well so I'd not worry about it.

Thanks man, I really have to say that joining the forum and the club was the best thing I ever did. The wealth of information and the eagerness of people to help out is overwhelming. The brewing community really is the best.
