Session IPA Ferm Temp

Howdy,

I was a bit worried about the "slightly cool to the touch" ferm for my Session IPA. I bought some of those thermo strips and was (I guess) pleasantly surprised to find my temps are running 18C to 20C.

I also panic bought a heat belt just in case I needed to jump-start things, but I think I'm

1. ok to leave it running at that range right?
2. Or is there a temp the ferm drops to where you'd bust out the belt?

I'm going to keep monitoring it for now.

Heat belt could be more problematic as without a controller to set the power to it you could go too warm. Having an STC1000 or Inkbird will allow for that. Most people look for an old fridge and use the controller to heat and cool as required but for now as you are getting 18c to 20c you should be fine.
