I'd hope so, it's your recipe!  ;)

How many litres can we stick you down for?

Rossa

I think Padraic is in too . I can do whatever is needed but I'd say increments of 20l. But one batch would be better.

Got my mash tun pretty much finished today, I fitted the insulation to the outside of mash tun.I need some good strong cling film/plastic shrink wrap and then I can finish it off.  I tested the barrel I did from tog and thankfully there were no leaks :-) Made some space in the shed today to store the barrel. I also started measuring and cutting the wood for my brewing table. I hope to finish the table mid week and then it will only be sight glasses left to fit assuming they arrive in time to be used.

Well feck it anyway!  :'(

What's our plan of attack lads??

Rossa

SO we are 5. Can did we not have 6? Was Padraic not in too? Ciderhead also?

Bubbles

Padraic's not going to be joining us. Ambitious fellow that he is, he's got 3 other barrel projects on the go!  :D

Not sure about Ciderhead...

Hi Paddy Bubble

I would be willing to try make a 2nd 20ltr batch but I am thinking what am I going to do with 40ltrs of 10% beer ;-)

I suspect I might need some help to get that 2nd batch done.

Was wondering if we would get away with not filling it completely?

When you doing your brews? I worked out how much the grain and hops would cost for this and it came in around 45 euro to buy everything online. Have you any cost saving plans buying grain as a group etc. Might join in if you still need people .

Shanna

I'm in Swords. I'll look into the group buys after work. Thanks for the links...

I won't be able to get a brew on for about 2-3 weeks.
I don't know if that's too late to be of any help but I'll contribute if you all think it's possible.

I can make 13 litres with my set-up.
