Title: Water profile help
Post by: Mossy on February 28, 2023, 02:18:25 PM
Hey,
I've just stared using Brewfather and I've love to set up the correct water profile but I'm finding it hard to understand.
I'm on the Ballymore-Eustace water supply. Would anyone know the figures for Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, Cl-, SO4/2- & HCO3-.
Thanks!

Your best way of getting those numbers accurate is to have your water tested for you. I think WHC yeast company in Wicklow were doing tests. You send them a 500ml bottle of your water. You can also get water testing kits in a pet shop and they can give you some of the numbers.

Is your local water report not available? I got my tap water lab tested and the results were not that far off what was already available online.
