Title: Anyone with a grain mill?
Post by: Paul B on September 22, 2014, 08:16:15 PM
Hey guys,

Just got my shipment from geterbrewed for an Irish Red, and they didn't crush the grains, despite me asking for it on the order :( Would any Capital Brewers be kind enough to lend me the use of their mill some night during the week to save trying to ship these back to Belfast?  (It's 3KG of speciality grains).

Kilmainham area.  I'm considering breaking out the rolling pin but hoping it doesn't have to come to that!

Don't go down the rolling pin route! It will take you hours, and you'll still end up with a load of uncrushed/badly crushed grain. Wait for that grain mill. I'm in Blackrock/Stillorgan area, probably a bit out of your way, but let me know if one of the Capital lads aren't able to sort you out.

I'm in Lucan, but can bring it to work in Park West if that's any use to you, again of you can't get anything else sorted, it's another option, bought teh mill because I ended up in a similar position, so feel your pain
