Hi all, and a happy new year to you.

As the 2016 Nationals will soon be upon us, bring your competition entries for some feedback.

I'll also be dropping off t-shirts, so please indicate below if you want me to bring yours.

See further details here. Please sign up below if attending.

Cheers,
Bubbles.

Any chance we can push it to following week for the start of the month of February instead?

Why? Attendance was better when we were having it on the last Thursday of the month.

28th of January does not suit that is all. Not looking to switch it every month just this time around.

I've no problem changing it. If people want to sign up and indicate their date preference, I can change the thread title and rearrange with the landlord.

Could we use this as a meet to get people to give feedback on beers to be submitted to the Nationals?

Don't see any reason why not. No scoresheets this time; just critical feedback :D

Also, some beers can be entered in multiple categories or may be better in a different category, so consider that when entering...

Agreed assistance on answering too questions
1. Is it worth entering?
2. If yes to 1, validate the choice of category to enter the beer in.

One small issue - the meet is after the collection date, unless Conor knows the bottles are getting picked up after the meet. 31st January is the official deadline, so keep it in mind.

You'll still have to have the beers registered and paid for by the 31st Jan!

So choose your categories carefully! :)

Can you update the category after that date?

I doubt it, from previous years, I think the comp software locks down all the entries. Makes sense, because it's only when registration is closed can categories, assignation of judges etc. happen.
