Few comments over the past months about us going into hibernation :o
No chance...we are busier than ever with our brewing.

We have been busy outside of the forum. kellie and I hve been at numerous events most recently 3 days in Killarney judging at the festival...we are brewing multiple times a week and our beer is fabulous and getting better.
Our new brewkit is just outstanding and our clubhouse floor clearly shows how busy we are. We are setup up to brew step mashes, decoction and use other ingredients besides barley e.g parsnips, beetroot and potatoes, rice, corn and anything else that grows ;)

On the hop front we have 8 hop vines all thriving, as most people know we have numerous awards 2014 and 15, UK nationals success with 2 gold from just 5 beers we entered, 2nd best brewer after rossa in 2015 and we were best brewer last year so we certainly are still here!

WE havnt had a publicised brewday in a while...thats simply because we brew 3+ times a week. Anyone wishing to see what we do and how we do it and taste our fantastic beers just let us know and drop down to us 20 minutes from newlands cross and 45 mins from dublin on the green bus for a fiver..

Overnight digs are plentyful....camping , dcaravan and campervan facilities are second to none so ye know where we are.

In the meantime we will do what we do.. brew and engage in brew scene social events...we havnt gone away! Upcoming events besides our own local taffic will be Beoir camping weekend and portlaoise fest organised by mr and mrs beersnob as well as a huge festival in Fisherstown where we have our own stand showcasing beer, brewing, brew tradition and sensible drinking..I believe they have even facilitated our stand( mini pub) with a music stage for us..!! brewing for 3 days at fisherstown trad fest...and im sure having a pint so hook up with us we ARE still here!

regards bren & kellie

@CH didnt forget. great day out ;) @ wicklow wolfe brewery few weeks ago. We also hit the AGM recently with plenty free beer as well!
Sadly due to circumstances we couldnt make everything not least the Brewcon event wonderfully produced by Rossa and co and would have loved to do James charity outing but life gets in the way sometimes...

great to see brewing going forward very positively

Enjoyed meeting you and Kellie at the Fisherman's yesterday - the stand was looking well and the ale was tasty  8): your both great ambassadors for the homebrew scene.

And a shout out to hassettbrew as well - he does a great cup of tea!

Hope the rest of the festival goes well.
