Hi I have made a rookie mistake I started a Mangrove Jacks Pale Ale on Saturday and today I realized that the spray malt light I put in was only 500g instead of 1Kg . Is there any way of saving the brew or do I put it down to noobie experience as I have done 5 kits with no problems. Thanks Aidan

I wouldn't bother messing with it now. Chalk it up to a mistake and learn from it 😜

Thanks I might let it finish fermenting and chalk it up to experience it might be drinkable if not I will chuck it. Thanks Aidan

Just call it a session beer and it'll be grand

Thanks for the replies I took a gamble and put in 500g of sugar made in to a thick syrup which I boiled and the air lock is working overtime so time will tell. Fingers crossed also make sure I read the shopping list before ordering

The brew fermented away for 3 or 4 days I did not go near it until today and I checked SG and it was 1.007 (1.005) on the package so happy with that. I hope to bottle tomorrow and was thinking of Batch Priming it how much sugar do I use

It depends on the volume and style. There are loads of calculators on line
