im looking to have a wee change of tac, been using mostly so4 and notty yeasts and fancy trying something a bit more interesting! Whats everyones thoufgts and what do you use?
I am particularly interested in brewing some more traditional ales that arnt so heavily hopped with the usual American/southern hemisphere hops, a bitter that I can serve through my beer engine!
Cheers folks

Have to admit I normally stick to notty as it's good and reliable. You could go for the likes of Yorkshire Square yeast or Burton Yeast, they'd be well suited to English style ales. I think Declan uses them the odd time too so he might know more if you're ever chatting to him.
