If anyone reading this hasn't been a steward before and is thinking about volunteering, let me assure you it's absolutely brilliant craic. Much more fun than judging, I'm serious!

You'll get to see from the inside how the biggest brewing competition in Ireland is run, you'll see and hear the BJCP judges and professional brewers deliberate over their scoresheets, you can have a little sample of the beers, and above all, a great day of craic and talking about beer and brewing.

"Some say" he was weaned  on a bottle of o haras and used to put tomato ketchup in his hair at three years old to dye it
