I have a steam brew on right now, so I'll have yeast in about two weeks as well if stuck.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

That's great. There wasn't much trub in mine and when I washed it I couldn't see where the yeast finished and waste began. Some vials might be good and some not great. I found this yeast took days to kick off so I'm going to build a big healthy starter next time..

Yeah mine seems to be pretty slow as well. I made a 1L starter, but the vial was just at it's best before date when it arrived from the supplier.

One thing is I don't have any empty vials though. I normally fill the vial it came in with a new sample and then plonk the rest into two containers in the fridge to repitch or grow later as needed.
