Wondering if there is any interest in these yokes. They look handy to me. I emailed your man and they are around $72 each with the screen shipped if buying alone but he said he'd do them for €59 if we can get 10 or more ordered.

Was thinking same myself. I would be interested.

QuoteCLEAR, GREAT TASTING BEER CAN BE AVAILABLE TO YOU IN DAYS, NOT WEEKS OR MONTHS, WHICH IS HOW LONG THE CURRENT DESIGN TAKES

then

QuoteYOU CAN TRANSPORT YOUR KEG TO A PARTY OR TO A DIFFERENT PLACE IN YOUR HOMEBREWERY WITHOUT THE WORRY OF STIRRING UP AND DRINKING THE SEDIMENT FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE KEG

Dunno how many people bring a keg to a party days before the event, but this wouldn't fill me with confidence

Would need one per keg which would put me off. I have 3 taps on the go (therefore 3 kegs), plus usually a filled keg in reserve waiting to be tapped for when another empties which would require 4 of these devices. I think many homebrewers would be like this (or similar) so the cost would be fierce in total

Cutting the end off your dip tube by a couple of inches would give the same result I'd say?

Qs

I run 4 taps and am thinking of getting 2. I want them for beers that have bit more in suspension than usual. If they're good then I'd consider getting more.

Cutting the dip tube helps but a)wouldn't be as quick and b)wouldn't lose the bit of beer cutting the dip tube costs you.

Putting a bit of fine mesh gauze over the end of your dip tube might acheive the same results

Or this for hell of a lot cheaper from the lads on Jim's, you will still need a couple of feet of some silicone flexible tubing and a gas dip tube

I used something like that when I had the plastic King kegs, float thingy seemed to work okay but the keg was shit.
Would seriously think about buying a few for my corny kegs if the price was right.

Have you used this for a Corny keg?  I am thinking of getting 3 kegs setup up with a view to pouring more clear beer and I think these might be handy. I've seen Keg widget as well. Another UK company and there device looks good, but postage was 20 pounds....  ouch

CH

I haven't used them but I'm thinking any basic float device suspending the tube would work.
What about parcel motel?

Here is the like to the cask widget stuff....  looks good.

20 pound shipping was to my parcel motel address ???  Maybe a group buy to this company. cheaper that the US product

CH

I ordered a couple of these and they arrived today. Looks like I'll need to remove the connector as it is too big for the dip tube but the tubing on it's own looks spot on in size. I'll just slide that over a shortened dip tube and I should be good to go.

Just use a gas dip tube rather than cutting your main one

I was looking into the clear beer for beers where I'd be dry hopping in the keg, that cask widge thing looks a great alternative, smaller footprint too which is nice. I wonder could I just use the regular liquid dip tube or is that too close to the bottom of the keg. Just checked out the shipping to Address Pal and its £5, presumably as that's located in mainland UK.

Is it just me or are the 2 beers in the video very similar looking, clarity wise? Can't say I noticed enough of a difference to shell out for one of these products.

Beer finings and more care and attention when transferring / racking has always worked out ok for me. Besides, I'm not bothered if my IPA isn't as clear as Bud Lite. Dilly fucking Dilly!!!
