Local club bank account

Hi guys n gals.

So question is....if a local club wants to set up a bank account that members can add to via online paypal etc what are the issues to look out for ? Any issues around who opens the account or tax issues. Someone had mentioned a Patreon account but not sure what is best approach. Any taughts welcome.
