You mentioned to me that you have a false bottom on your kettle and a pump. Are you recirculating your mash?
Considering altering my set up to do this. BIAB style. Do you have a bazooka screen in your kettle too even with the mash bag? Is a bazooka defo needed?
No. I have kept it very simple. Got the bits and bobs for a valve. Made a false bottom. But ended up not installing the valve. Since i wasn't using a pump, there wasn't a significant gain by installing, over using a syphon.
Thats not to say, that i won't. Just haven't yet.
