          This was my suggestion on the next barrel fill. Open to any suggestions or different recipe.

I think it would be good to do a different recipe in each barrel. A more sessionable porter would be a nice alternative I think. Derek and Steven mentioned recipes when we chatted.
If a second recipe is forthcoming  let's get a list going.

Lads I changed the recipe slightly due to trying to having my efficiency set to 70% instead of 60% due to large grain bill.

Split mash ? Thats also for a 60% efficiency..so your own set up might need less.

Fill date for both barrels is set for 10th September.

To keep things simple on the day it would be best to bring young beer in a cornie. We want to minimise O2 pickup.

Think the larger barrel was 135L from memory. Smaller closer to 125L.

Any thoughts on the water profile for the porter? Do you thinkwe need to replicate you're soft South Dublin water?

I've no certain idea, maybe Mark would know but there were a few that had said they got theirs from the bottom barrel which would likely mean that mine came from the top. Someone had to have theirs from the top?

I'll have to take a sample and re measure the FG. I have mine in a keg.
