Delighted with the result, got a great buzz out of hearing I got gold.  Never in my wildest dreams.....

Seriously though, it's great encouragement to get brewing more, and trying different styles.  After all that was my first competition beer and I've only been brewing for just over a year.

And it's a good reflection on the club-the tasting sessions have been shown to be valuable advice sessions as well as good craic, so in that way it was a collaborative effort.  Thanks for pointing out the potential of the beer that night in the Well.

It would be nice to get another few medals in Dublin, so good luck to anyone from the club who has beers in the bigger catagories.

Hope to see a few of you in my place on Saturday for a brew.
