I'm trying to source Lemondrop hops,  would anyone know of somewhere with them in stock?

Jacob

Not sure if you'll find them on continent.
You can try to get them from http://www.yakimavalleyhops.com/

Better late than never they say.....  The HBC has them

Anyone any experience /tips/ "well,  if I was you..."  for brewing with these.?  (my curiosity got the better of me,  and added them to my last order, and am now wondering  what to do with them)

I did an ipa with them and j-lime...added equal amounts every 5 mins from 30 mins to flame out then dry hopped with them...nice aroma and smooth flavour..

1 is good, 2 is better, 3 is enough & 4 isn't half enough

Thanks.  So they are not too over bearing?

(lemon drops and j-lime - sounds like an interesting version of 7-up!)

I got some form Yakima earlier in the year and wasn't impressed by them at all.
Got very little off them.

molc

I've tried a few homebrews using them and all have been missing the lemon/citrus aromas advertised.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Interesting... Initially I didn't get much from them but after letting the keg sit for a while I began to come through.. Mild but detectable, aroma from dry hopping was very nice.. I'd use them again the same as before but up the amount.
As they say "Doctors differ blah blah blah" 😜😜

Might do a single malt and single hop, just to see.

Sure you may as well....you have the hops so DO IT...if it's not to your taste I'll relieve you of it

Didn't brew this,  BTW.  Had forgotten to order yeast. So,  had to change to a wheat beer recipe (had a wlp 300 in the fridge).
So the lemondrops live for another day.
Thanks for the input
