First time smoking meat : need advice

Only thing with Bradley smokers is you have to buy the wood pellet discs off them.. If they ever go under you'll not get the fuel.

Was interested in Bradley till read may reviews saying that heat element is the weakest link of that construction and have to be replaced very often.

I put this together yesterday eve for mates wedding gift. 3 hours work. No burn out needed on the barrel as its unpainted & unlined.

It was a tight top barrel so had to grind it off very carefully so I could still use it for the lid & that it'd seal properly. That alone took an hour & 3 grinder discs.

Its an ex glycol barrel. Came in with the new brew kit at GBB. The minute it was emptied I hid it
