Storage of Hops

Do you think the home brew shops store their vacuum packed hops in freezers too? There's less point in us doing so if they've been sitting on a shelf in a warehouse for a year!

So if the Home Brew Shops store them frozen, they thaw out while being shipped to me, and I bung them back in the freezer, does that do any damage?  Probably not enough to mention, but just interested.
