Irish stout

This was my 1st all grain brew and a damn good classic dry Irish stout. Simple straight forward and can be tweeked in many ways, you could double the flaked barley for a creamier pint.
You could add some oats for silkiness (500g)
You could split the roast barley 50/50 with chocolate malt for a more complex roastiness.
Scale down the grain bill for a session stout, different hops...it really is a very versatile recipe.

Pale Malt 5 EBC 11 lbs. 0.4 oz 5000 grams 83.3%
Roasted Barley 1350 EBC 1 lbs. 1.6 oz 500 grams 8.3%
Flaked Barley 0 EBC 1 lbs. 1.6 oz 500 grams 8.3%

Target Whole 12.97 % 60 mins 0 lbs. 0.7 oz 20 grams 50%
Target Whole 12.97 % 15 mins 0 lbs. 0.7 oz 20 grams 50%

Final Volume: 23 Litres
Original Gravity: 1.057
Final Gravity: 1.017
Alcohol Content: 5.3% ABV
Total Liquor: 34.3 Litres
Mash Liquor: 15 Litres
Mash Efficiency: 75 %
Bitterness: 36.520481869342 EBU
Colour: 228 EBC

Notty would be my dry yeast of choice for this or wlp004 Irish ale, wlp028 Scottish ale would be super as well
