I think that's a fine idea. I'm happy to do another one straight away! I'd be tempted to go for one of my favourite hop varieties, but I feel like I should be trying something new. Mandarina Bavaria or Jester or something. :)

I was going to suggest another type of taste-off. I'm about to do a few English bitters and was wondering whether anyone is interested in doing the same? Maybe have them ready for the June meet?

Have you done your bitters yet? That's a style I've had my eye on for a while, but haven't had the chance to make. Would love to join you in making one.

jesus i find it hard to use this quote thingy....

anyways re above
i've just bottled a best bitter that i've high hopes for.
planning a lighter yorkshire bitter (maybe pushing the boundries with the hops- depending on mood!) this weekend so i'd be well up for a bitter session for june's meet....

i never managed to get around to the SMASH beers lads as was off on another preplanned tangent with ingredients that needed using... my 2 latest brews aren't conditioned yet (bigger beers, need a bit longer) so i can bring along the blonde ale from feb's meet... it wasn't popular that night but it had only been bottled 3 weeks at that stage and i think its a better beer now... i'd love to see what you guys think of it... advance apologies if its not up to scratch!

1. Bubbles - SMaSH Amarillo Pale Ale
2. Molc - Smash (Vienna Lager)
3. David - Smash Pils

Sorry, I can't make this after all. My beer for the brewcon comp isn't fully conditioned anyway, so I won't have anything to enter.

David
